The Climpson-Kennedy Clan

I had a session with 6 great kids, or I suppose I should say young adults! It had been a long time since the brothers and sisters had, had their photo's taken together, not to mention all the cousins together. It was time. Not all the family were of the two legged variety.

Kerry and Ken, May 24 2008

Kerry and Ken got married at The Cardinal Golf Club. It was only fitting that we took pictures on the mini-putt as that is where they had their first date! I wanted to share this email that they sent to me shortly after they picked up their pictures.
Email from Kerry:

Hi Tracey,

Having pictures of our wedding is one of the few things we will have to remind us of our special day forever. We are so glad that we were able to find someone who was able to capture the day so perfectly and beautifully. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day and providing us with such amazing pictures. It is going to be very difficult to choose the one to use to hang up on our wall. Some of our favourites were taken in the mini-golf area; you wouldn’t even know they were from there, the scenery is so beautiful!

Word of mouth travels very fast, and leading up to our wedding, when we told people that you were doing the wedding, we were surprised to hear how many people are already familiar with you. Everyone who knows of you, knows how great a photographer you are. The people we spoke to and dealt with at Cardinal Golf Course have also been very impressed with your professionalism and quality of pictures.

Everyone who has seen our pictures has been extremely impressed and has asked who our photographer was. We hope that our constant praises will help you, and will in turn, help lots of other people to have such amazing pictures to remind them of their special days or loved ones.

Again, we can’t thank you enough. We won’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a photographer, or to call upon you again when we next need a photographer.

Sincerely

Kerry and Ken

Baby Aylah

Please allow me to introduce Aylah Lynn-Marie. What a cutie! We had the peasure of Darby, Bob and Aylah come and stay with us for a few days. Now before any clients call to book a room, I should make it clear that Bob and Darby are family. I am not running a photographic B&B!

Elizabeth and Martin June 14th

Although Elizabeth and Martin now live in Utah, they planned their wedding at Madsen's in Newmarket so friends and family could be part of their special day. We had beautiful weather, and they were such a fun and easy group to work with.
Tracey,

We received the wedding pictures in the mail last week. They look great! Everyone that has seen them and the ones you posted on the internet thought that they were wonderful. Thanks again for all your hard work (on the centerpieces too!)

Kids don't try this at home!

I had a dying Maple tree on my front lawn, every storm big branches were knocked down by the wind. So before any serious damage happened to my house or the neighbour's, with much sadness I decided it needed to come down.

It takes a special kind of man to climb a tree, chain saw in hand to tackle such a huge tree!

I decided to leave the tree trunk standing about 10 feet tall, with hopes to create an interesting sculpture or carving. It has caused quite a stir on a normally quiet street wondering what I am going to do now, and why I left it like that! I like to keep them guessing!

Many thanks to my tree man!!!!!

Michelle and Patrick

Michelle and Patrick had a small afternoon wedding at Madsen's in their new outdoor chapel. It was a lovely wedding, although stinking hot!

Natalie and Lauren

I can't believe how time flies. It seems like just yesterday Natalie and her husband Rob came to me for maternity photos, when expecting their first baby. Now that they are expecting their second, Lauren (the first baby) came strolling in behind her mom, as cute as a button.

The Smith Family

I met with the Smith family at Madsen's at the end of May. There family is spread all over Canada, and for the first time in years they were all home at the same time. We took advantage of that opportunity and created a family portrait they will enjoy for years.

Liz and Darryl

Liz and Darryl got married May 3rd. We started out in Pickering and ended up in Caledon., at the Royal Ambassador. It couldn't have rained any harder!! The ceremony was moved from outdoors to indoors and we made the best of a very soggy day.

Alexis and Kevin

Alexis and Kevin got married on the 12th of April at Hockley Valley. The weather wasn't the greatest but the rain did stop periodically so we could slip outside and take picture of the wedding party with Kevin's pride and joy.
